01. About the Service
Interior door installation is one of the final stages of interior finishing, affecting not only the look of the room but also everyday comfort. Properly installed doors should open and close smoothly, remain stable, avoid jamming or rubbing against the floor, and align neatly with the walls, flooring, and door trims.
We install doors from measuring the door openings to fitting the handles. During the work, we take into account the floor height and wall alignment so the doors are not only neatly fitted, but also comfortable for everyday use.
02. Preparing the Door Opening for Installation
Interior doors install properly only when the door opening and floor level are aligned with each other. If the opening is not ideal, the first step is to determine what needs to be adjusted: whether it is enough to set the frame accurately, or whether the trims need to be adapted, the gaps aligned, the floor height considered, and the areas where the door may rub or catch checked.
During installation, the door is adapted to the specific opening rather than simply “placed into position.” The frame levels are adjusted, the door leaf is regulated, and the gaps and trims are aligned so the door opens smoothly.
Gap Alignment. The gaps between the door leaf, frame, floor, and trims are carefully aligned.
Leaf Adjustment. The door is adjusted so it does not jam, rub against the floor, open or close by itself.
Trim Installation. Trims finish the opening and cover the installation areas along the walls.
